Triumph Tiger description

1956 Triumph Pre Unit Chopper

1956 Triumph T110

CLEAN CA TITLE IN HAND. Hate to sell it, but I am not riding it as much as my other bike. This needs an owner that's going to ride it. Starts first kick and is very reliable since the new Morris Magneto was put on. Runs great, no existing issues, just serviced at The Tiger Shack in Orange, CA. This bike was built by Joel Pippett of Marvelous Customs for The Born Free Show and has been featured in Dice Magazine (Issue in hand as well). Sold "as-is".

  • Engine: 1956 T110
  • 750 cc bottom end Morgo kit
  • Bonneville 9-stud head
  • Frame: 1938 Triumph Rigid
  • Dual 930 Amal carbs
  • Front End: Wartime English Spurter (1944)
  • Front Wheel: Avon Speedmaster 21" with spool hub
  • Rear Wheel: 19" English Dunlop
  • Rear Brake: 4-piston PM , 1
  • 19 English Dunlop
  • Firestone bi-ply rear tire
  • Tank: Wassell
  • Oil Tank: 1940's Speed Equipment 1-gallon
  • Rear Fender: Wassell
  • Bates seat, p-pad and backrest.
  • Zombie Performance Bars (currently on bike)
  • The following parts were fabbed by Marvelous Customs: additional set of bars, pipes, sissy-bar, headlight bracket, footpegs.
  • 1956 Plate

This bike really is amazing, and I hate to sell it, but I hate seeing it sit even more. Figured I would sell it to someone who will enjoy it as much as I used to. Ask me any details. Below are the photos from the magazine and original 1956 Triumph T110 Manual for the bike.

2012-2013 Triumph Speed Triple Transmission Recall Now Includes US

Fri, 31 May 2013

As we expected, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has announced a recall for the 2012-2013 Triumph Speed Triple because the transmission may have been built with the wrong detent arm spring. A similar recall was announced for Canada earlier this month, so we knew it was a matter of time before the recall was announced for the U.S. market.
