Triumph Tiger description

I found this as a busted up barn find. Frame was destroyed, didn't run, came as a rolling chassis with two old milk crates of parts.

I stripped it down to raw metal. Engine cases , side covers and head was soda blasted. frame was cut up and redesigned
There are no kits to utilize a Mark II sprung hub in an OIF chassis, so I made my own

frame and neck numbers match

engine is freshly rebuilt, with less than 200 miles, and a strong runner
New Sparx three phase charging system upgrade
Boyer electronic ignition (fires on first kick, most of the time... every once in a while it takes a second, when engine is hot)
I put about 100 miles on the bike the day of the music video shoot. The bike runs and rides down the road at 70, flawlessly

rear fender, tail light, and license plate mount are modified harley sportster items. The handlebars are 79 kawasaki snow mobile. Everything else is vintage triumph or hand made

Bike took third in it's first and only car show. I had not planned on entering. I rode there, intending to be a spectator, and was talked into entering. Riding home with my belt looped through a large trophy, sitting on the tank was a challenge, and quite a source of humor for a local sheriff deputy, who could not stop laughing at me
The bike was also used in a country music video... I really do not think ebay wants me posting links, so you will have to contact me for a link to that.

a custom bass guitar was built to go with the bike for a photo shoot. I would really prefer to keep the bass, but I guess that is negotiable

the bike has not been registered since 1997. I went to DMV, paid the fees, and got a temporary tag, but never finished the paperwork. Obviously the title is clean to do that, but the title has been lost. Had I known that the other party was not going to conclude the sale, I would have finished the registration process...but hind sight is 20/20 and all... Now the paperwork has to be started over.

CA has a specific form for "paperless" change of ownership. That will come with the bike instead of a title.

I have lowered reserve, but also had some good trade offers. IF this goes, sorry to potential bidders, but I have to take my best price or put it away, and keep it forever

^^ above was supposed to say Frame neck & engine numbers match...I guess I am better with a bike then a smart phone
