If you have been looking for a true dual purpose motorcycle that ready to hit the bothe the sreet as well as legitmately attack any offroad challenge trail or if you have specifically been searching for a Triumph 800 XC but you havent found the right bike, in the right condition, and most importantly the right price.....STOP LOOKING!!!   This is the bike you've been searching for it and a deal you've only dreamed of.

This is a "NO RESERVE" auction with a starting bid of only $6999!!!   From my research this is the best deal on any Triumph 800 XC for sale!!!   Buy it for under trade in value!!

The Triumph 800 XC is Triumphs most aggressive dirt ready dual sport they produce and features a taller 21" front tire, hand guards (bark busters or brush guards), adjustable seat, taller suspension with 43mm inverted front forks and dual disc brakes with abs, grab handles for the passenger, skid plate, engine crash bars and more.  The 3 cylinder motor start easy, bike shifts smoothly, no leaks, no major damage anywhere (there are a few small scratches on exhaust and headlights...see video, wthe chain and sprockets look good as well as the brake pads, windshield is clear and clean, adjustable seat is in great shape with no rips or tears, ABS brakes operate on and off as they should, all  The Contential tires are like brand new and still have the nipples pn them.  This bike is fairly stock with just the addition of some nice hi intensity Moto style fog lamps with billet protection. The paint, fenders, and plastics all look great.

I've posted 24 hi def pictures as well as a Hi-def youtube video walk around above, check them all out and if you need any additional pictures, call or text me at 630-532-8227.  (if you are viewing from your cell phone and you want to see the video, text me at 630-532-8227 and I'll send you the mobile link.

I'm willing to ship this bike nation or world wide and can help arrange shipping.  Financing is available nationwide.  Bid with confidence, I have a 100% feedback and specialize in motorcycle sales.  I know the knew owner will be thrilled with this bike and the smokin deal you got....GOOD LUCK BIDDING!!!

2012-2013 Triumph Daytona 675, Speed Triple, Street Triple, Tiger 800 Recalled in Canada

Mon, 25 Mar 2013

Transport Canada has announced a recall for the 2012 and 2013 Triumph Daytona 675, Speed Triple, Street Triple and Tiger 800 because of a flaw in their turn signals. Several members of the Motorcycle.com forum network’s TriumphRat.net community have reported issues with turn signals breaking off, and this recall appears to address the issue. According to Transport Canada, the supports for the front and rear turn signals were incorrectly manufactured and may break.

Filling a void with an RD350LC

Mon, 29 Jul 2013

Last winter I managed to fill a void in my life when I stumbled on a very reasonably priced Yamaha RD350LC.  It was a tad scruffy, had the wrong exhausts but most importantly it was blue and white with all numbers matching.  I had the usual euphoria when the deal was done but I underestimated how much pleasure this particular purchase would continue to deliver another eight months down the line. The difference with this old bike is, instead of just taking it for the occasional ride I was talked into doing a full nut and bolt restoration.  Having never taking a bike apart completely before, initially it was quite daunting but I soon found the RD is easy to work on so it turned into a truly satisfying experience.  I’ve had some help from LC enthusiasts with the rebuild, however, the stripping, sourcing and organising was a total labour of love.  And call me sad but it has made me bond with this bike like no other which only adds to the feel good factor.  The bike cost £1800 and I’ve spent around £1000 but I reckon my mint Elsie is now worth a fair bit more.   I fancy rejuvenating a Fizzy  next time but there’s lots of other cheap 70’s and 80’s winter projects  out there so why not have a go yourself?

May Day Run: Toy Story 3 Street Triple

Tue, 03 May 2011

Every year on the first Bank holiday in May more than 25,000 bikers take to the A21 and ride to Hastings for what is Kent’s biggest bike meet. The official route starts at Locksbottom in London and follows the A21 all the way to the coastal town of Hastings. We picked up the 50 mile spectator-clad route about half way down and in our group of 5 took a casual poodle down.
