Victory Strengthens Sponsorship of Bellator MMA

Victory Motorcycles has taken a page out of Harley-Davidson‘s marketing playbook, signing a new sponsorship agreement with Bellator MMA, and becoming the mixed martial arts promotion’s official motorcycle brand. The partnership is similar to Harley-Davidson’s arrangement with Bellator’s chief competitor, the Ultimate Fighting Championship. Mark Blackwell Recognized as AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame Legend

American motocross pioneer, race team manager and motorcycle industry executive Mark Blackwell is getting another honor: being recognized as an AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame Legend. Blackwell, who was inducted to the Hall of Fame in 2000, will be feted alongside the 2013 induction class during AMA Legends Weekend, Oct. 18-19 at the Green Valley Ranch Resort, Spa and Casino in Las Vegas.

You can't fault Max Biaggi's performance on the track at Misano over the weekend, bagging a double-win on hia Aprilia, but you have to question his podium celebration. We're not sure what's going on here, but suspect it's something to do with his son, who was at the track for the first time to see his old man racing. Perhaps it's Biaggi's way of dedicating his victory to his son or could it be Biaggi's way of saying he's no longer spitting the dummy, something he's earned a reputation of doing over the years.
