Victory Vegas description

2004 Victory Vegas, REALLY CLEAN LOW RIDER WITH EXTRAS!!!!!!!!!! - POWERFUL ANY WAY YOU LOOK AT IT Heads turn. Eyebrows raise. Ears perk. All normal reactions when street art as powerful as the Victory Vegas pulls up. Its smooth-flowing lines, trick custom details and rumbling exhaust tell you this is the most modern expression of the American V-twin cruiser. The motorcycle critics agree. Cruising Rider magazine named Vegas "Cruiser of the Year," saying, "We applaud Victory for its guts and vision." Ditto Cycle World, reporting that Victory Vegas "is refined in both looks and function" and naming it "Best Cruiser." On the outside, Vegas' key styling cues include sensuous curves, a strong centerline defined by a distinctly raised spine, and a one-piece sculpted tank with a split tail. But the beauty of Vegas is more than sheet metal deep. In fact, beneath the surface may be the best reason to head for Vegas. The 1507cc Freedom engine snorts out more torque and horsepower than the best-selling V-twin. For 2004, Vegas boasts a wider rear wheel with a 180mm tire and new custom options that take its high-stakes styling to a whole new level. Features: Powerful, overhead cam, 92 cubic inch Freedom V-twin with standard fuel injection Overhead cam with four valves per cylinder for superior power at high RPM Aluminum swingarm with rising-rate linkage rear suspension for a smooth ride and optimal handling 40-spoke laced wheels standard Rubber-mounted handlebars minimize vibration Alternate Paint Options: Two-Toned Colors: Cosmic Sunburst & Vogue Silver or Solar Red & Vogue Silver Multiple Colors: Sonic Blue with Tribal Fade Flames or Purple Thunder with Vogue Silver Tribal Flames

Kevin Schwantz Once Again Wearing RS Taichi

Mon, 07 Apr 2014

It’s official – Kevin Schwantz will return to his early years of wearing RS Taichi. While Schwantz wore RS Taichi gear during several of his memorable seasons in the 500cc class, his partnership and success with Taichi apparel all started with his victory at the 1988 Daytona 200. And now that Schwantz and the Circuit of the Americas have settled their differences, the 1993 world champ took to the track in RS Taichi leathers again for the first time recently at the Circuit of The Americas media day, as newly appointed motorcycle ambassador for the circuit.

Team HRC CRF450 Rally Prototype Video

Fri, 03 Jan 2014

In a just released video HRC Team Director Katsumi Yamazaki describes Honda’s Dakar weapon, the CRF450 Rally. Warning: Yamazaki-san’s monotone delivery manages to snuff the excitement factor of what is an incredibly trick motorcycle, but it’s still interesting to watch. Honda returned to the Dakar Rally for the first time in 24 years in January 2013.

Brammo Earns Seventh Place Against Gas Bikes

Mon, 06 May 2013

This past weekend, Brammo arrived to Sonoma Raceway in Central California ready to do battle. Only this time the electric sportbike manufacturer would be trading blows not with other electric bikes, but with their ICE counterparts at the second round of the American Federation of Motorcyclists series — one of the oldest club racing organizations in the country. We recently mentioned Brammo’s eligibility with AFM, and this weekend was the first outing. Team Icon Brammo and its two riders Eric Bostrom and Steve Atlas competed on the Empulse RR machines while third rider, Shelina Moreda, rode the Team Parker Brammo Empulse TTX — a modified version of the road-legal Empulse.
