Vincent All description

Very good condition,THE HEADMASTER'S WAGER, is a super fiction novel.
A glimpse at Vietnam in 1960s Saigon, before the US got involved.
The Chinese headmaster of an English-language school is a master briber to get what he wants.
He refuses to believe the news of the fighting around him and his son.
As the war begins to encroach further into his world,
he must eventually confront the tragedy of all he has refused to see.
A different and interesting novel.
