Yamaha DT125 tech info
Yamaha DT125 description
1978 YAMAHA DT125. I rescued this bike out of a mans cellar last week. He bought it for his some to ride back and forth to school in the early 80s. It was ridden a few years and then parked inside. It has been preserved very well as you can see. The bike still has good fork boots and little to no rust on chrome. see pics. The motor turns over but we have not tried to get it running. The bike looks to be original. It is missing the ignition switch and the rear light assembly. This bike is the cleanest original I have seen in a really long time. Overall bike is nice for an original. It is sold as is where is. Not title. No title. No title. NO TITLE. I will write the buyer a Bill Of Sale. See pics for condition. What you see on bike in pics is what comes with it. No more No Less. Bike is sold as is where is WITH NO TITLE. Buyer must arrange pickup in Dunn NC 28334. Buyer responsible for all shipping arrangements and charges. Ask questions BEFORE you buy. After you buy is no time for questions. Bike must be removed within 30 days of auction end. I will be unavailable for pickup during the first 2 weeks of September. It will need to be before or after that. Buyer must pay for bike within 3 days of auction end. No exceptions. Questions? Call Billy at Tired Iron Classics at 252-565-2212. Thanks and dnot miss out on this awesome find!!! |

Tue, 21 Jan 2014Kids really do have it good these days. Case in point is this super stylish motocross-themed push bicycle found in the Yamaha Europe catalog. Parents out there are probably well aware of these bikes without pedals, but as someone without kids this is a new discovery for me.
Yamaha Focusing on Developing Model Platforms
Mon, 22 Sep 2014Following the success of its MT platform, Yamaha says it will continue to develop new models based on shared platforms, allowing for a choice of multiple models while reducing overall costs. Speaking in a presentation on the company’s business operation, Yamaha Motor President Hiroyuki Yanagi reiterated the strategy of developing multiple models sharing the same engine and frame. Honda has followed a similar strategy with its NC models, seeing the platform evolve to include the CTX700 and NM4.
