This is a 2013 Yamaha FZ6R. Bike has 679 miles. I bought this bike brand new in April of 2015 from Rosenau PowerSports in Dearborn, MI. Title is clear with no lien. Two VIN reports available. Bike has never been dropped or laid down. Bike was never ridden in the rain. Bike was always garaged or at least covered. Used strictly as a weekend joy ride when the weather was nice. 600 mile service completed. The bike is stock, no modifications (the windshield is plastidipped, and so can be peeled off if desired). Will only accept money orders, cashier's checks, or cash. Buyer is responsible for shipping, etc. Do not hesitate to contact with any questions. The Pursuit of Yamaha-ness – A Message from Yamaha’s CEO
Thu, 10 Jan 2013Yamaha must “pursue true Yamaha-ness and break out of our old norms” if it hopes to increase profitability, says Hiroyuki Yanagi, the company’s president and chief executive officer. In an open letter released by Yamaha, Yanagi discussed what his company needed to do in order to reach its goal of producing 12 million units this year and collecting 2 trillion yen (US$22.5 billion) in sales. Yanagi’s message offered little in specific details but provided a glimpse of Yamaha’s overall strategy for the next few years.
Yamaha Reports 2013 Sales Results
Wed, 12 Feb 2014Yamaha reported a 1.2% decrease in motorcycle sales in 2013 but managed to increase its net sales revenue by 16.2%, thanks in large part to the depreciation of the Japanese yen. According to the company’s 2013 fiscal report, Yamaha sold 6,014,000 motorcycles last year, down slightly from 6,090,000 sold in 2012. The good news however, is most of the sales decrease was limited to Thailand and Vietnam where the economy worsened in 2013, while Yamaha’s sales increased in nearly all other markets.
