I purchased this 2015 Yamaha FZ6R in April of 2016. I bought it new from a local dealer and only put about 1,500 miles on it over the summer. Swapped out the front turn signals with flush mounts and the piece around the headlight with black instead of red. Runs great and only one scrape on the side fairing from my garage port. Not noticeable unless pointed out. The pick up is great and speed is plenty of fun. The bike's NADA "Suggested list price" is $7,790. NADA is what the banks use for their values and loans, etc. If you do not have the money up front for the bike, you can try Ebay's financing program or check with your local bank to see what they can do as well. The engine is backwards. Yamaha’s reason for doing this is to shift the heavy end of the motor more to the center of the motorcycle to make it more agile and responsive. Slanting the cylinder also made for a straighter pathway for the air intake at the front of the bike.

The 2012 Yamaha YZ250F gets several engine refinements including a new 39mm carburetor, compared to the 2011 version’s 37mm carb.
