for sale is a '93 Yamaha FZR 600rr Street fighter bike I've had this bike since last year and it has done wonders for me at college. it has gotten me to class every day and is also great for cruisin' around town/country roads; also very fast and balanced for an easy ride. looking to sell it to get money to put towards a newer bike next season -30xxx miles -3rd owner (my 1st bike) -clean title in my name -no mechanical issues (reliable bike) -surprisingly good starter bike -shifts clean and transmission is smooth -new (within 3 mons) chain, sprocket, & rear tire -front tire 70% tread - rear tire 90% tread -new battery & ignition @ beginning of this past season negatives: -tear in passenger seat -bike has been knocked over -this cracked the left tail fairing, chipped the front fender, and busted off a 3rd of the clutch lever - (see images) feel free to text/call me for any questions or for more images/videos happy to talk.. Mon, 28 Jan 2013Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Ryan Villopoto dominated the 450SX Class on Saturday night in front of a record crowd in Oakland, CA. In front of a record crowd of 46,896, Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Ryan Villopoto raced to his second-consecutive AMA Supercross victory, an FIM World Championship, 450SX Class Main Event win at O.co Coliseum in Oakland, CA on Saturday night. Rockstar Energy Racing’s Davi Millsaps finished in second, and Red Bull KTM’s Ryan Dungey followed in third.
Recall for 2011 Yamaha FJR1300
Mon, 11 Jul 2011Yamaha is initiating a recall campaign the 2011 FJR1300, just a week after a separate recall for the 2006-2009 versions of the sport touring motorcycle. Like the earlier campaign, the recall for the 2011 Yamaha FJR1300 is for an electrical issue, this time for the brake lights. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, brake light on affected units may not illuminate when the front brake lever is applied because the activating mechanism in the brake switch can bind.
