Frame powder coated, engine completely rebuilt with new crank seals, new rod, new bearings, new piston and rings, standard bore. Forks rebuilt, new seals, new oil. Brakes rebuilt. The bike has the stock Takasago rims and stock spokes. New cables, new handlebars, new clutch and clutch discs, new rubber, new grips, all bushings and bearing replaced. Transmission rebuilt. New Mikuni carb. New fuel lines. New seat. New levers. New replacement shocks. Lots of money and time was spent in the restoration. New DC Plastics. The bike rides and shifts great!!! Recall for 2006-2009 Yamaha FJR1300
Mon, 04 Jul 2011Yamaha is recalling certain 2006-2009 FJR1300 sport-tourers due to a problem with the electrical system. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the ground joint connector of the wire harness on some Yamaha FJR1300 models may overheat and become deformed. If the electrical system is not properly grounded, the motorcycle’s electric components including the ignition system may malfunction, potentially causing the engine to stall.

Mon, 06 Jan 2014KTM rookie Ken Roczen captured his first 450 class win in the AMA Supercross world championship, taking the season opener at Angel Stadium in Anaheim, Calif. An audience of 45,050 fans watched a clean race from the rookie while errors by veterans like James Stewart and three-time reigning champion Ryan Villopoto knocked them out of contention. Villopoto had a strong start, taking the holeshot and leading the first eight laps, just like the Kawasaki rider had done so often the last few seasons.
