Yamaha Other description

This is a 1970 Yamaha CS3C California special which includes the up-swept exhaust system. I bought this bike from an estate sale it had been sitting for over 40 years. The pistons were seized so both pistons and rings were replaced, carbs rebuilt, frame touched up, repainted original color. The bike runs and starts great, all lights and brakes are in working order. The bike has 2 issues one is the clutch is stuck dis-engaged and the oil injection pump seal leaks. I live in Oregon but the bike is located in Las Vegas NV. otherwise these repairs would have been done. The bike is in perfect condition as shown in the pics. The exhaust system chrome was $1050 to re chrome

In 1995, he went on a three-year round-the-world route on a Honda Fireblade and covered over 160 thousand kilometers, and in 2001 he started on a Yamaha YZF-R1 and traveled about 250 thousand kilometers in five years.

Yamaha Sketches out the Features on the New 2010 YZ450F [Video]

Thu, 10 Sep 2009

You’ll realize how cheesy that headline is after watching the pretty rad video that Yamaha has released. Yamaha’s new motocross bike has taken a radical new approach.  The engine is backwards. Yamaha’s reason for doing this is to shift the heavy end of the motor more to the center of the motorcycle to make it more agile and responsive.  Slanting the cylinder also made for a straighter pathway for the air intake at the front of the bike.
