1972 Yamaha RT1 360 With a clear Ohio Title. Frame and engine numbers match. This bike has had all the lights and wiring stripped off and has been used for mild trail riding. The oil injection is blocked off and it is being premixed. The pump is still there. The best thing about this bike is the engine. It runs very strong. Move the kick start down and you know this is great motor. No hint of any bearing noise or feel and you can hear the reeds hum. Lots of compression. The clutch action is good but does slip some when you get on it. Probably has glazed clutch plates. Not a big deal. Inside of the tank is clean. This is a great bike to restore. Titled bike numbers matching with a sound power plant. Take a good look at the pictures. You can also call me with any questions you might have 440-346-6314 ask for Bob. Authenticated by Yamaha Motors UK, this unique 181-mile machine has been signed by the multiple world champ and is being sold by Oldham-based Highbarn Motorcycles. Any takers?
Yamaha Reports Q1 2012 Results
Mon, 14 May 2012Yamaha reported a 5.3% decrease in worldwide motorcycle sales over the first quarter of 2012 despite a 25% increase in North American sales. In the quarter ended March 31, 2012, Yamaha sold 1.599 million motorcycles worldwide, down from 1.689 million motorcycles sold over the same quarter in 2011. Most of the decline was due to Yamaha’s performance in the Asian market.
