I NEED TO GET THIS OUT OF MY GARAGE, I'M TIRED OF LOOKING AT IT. ITS A 1973 YAMAHA CT175 ALMOST ALL ORIGINAL EXCEPT FOR THE 1971 GAS TANK. NEEDS SOME TLC, MOTOR IS FREE BUT HASN'T BEEN RUN IN A FEW YEARS, NEEDS A BATTERY, TUNE UP, ETC.............IT WAS GONNA BE A PROJECT FOR ME AND MY BOYS BUT I JUST DONT HAVE TIME TO GET IT GOING NOW. PICKED IT UP FROM A FRIEND AND THE TITLE WAS LOST YEARS AGO BUT IT IS OUT OF THE DMV SYSTEM SO THERE ARE NO BACK CHARGES. SELLING IT WITH A BILL OF SALE AND LOOKING TO LET IT GO FOR ONLY 600.00 / obo OR MAYBE TRADE FOR A SMALLER BIKE. REALLY INTERESTED IN A 70'S YAMAHA MINI ENDURO OR NEWER PIT BIKE. Tue, 29 Mar 2011I’ve just got back from Donington Park and the second round of the World Superbike championship. The racing was exciting, going off without a hitch, and the weather was unseasonably kind, but the meeting will be remembered by those in the fairly close knit WSB paddock for reasons other than the temperature or the race results. It’ll be remembered by most, especially those who witnessed it, as the meeting where Max Biaggi finally lost his already feeble grip on reality.
2014 Yamaha MT-09 Three-Cylinder Street Bike Announced for Europe – to be Named FZ-09 in US
Tue, 11 Jun 2013A couple of weeks ago, Yamaha Europe released a video called “Dark Side of Japan” teasing a new street bike it claimed would “change the sport motorcycle world.” Today, the company revealed its new model, introducing a new naked sportbike powered by a “Crossplane” three-cylinder engine called the MT-09. (EDIT: and we can now reveal that the North American version will be known as the Yamaha FZ-09.) The 2014 Yamaha MT-09 is powered by a new 847cc three-cylinder engine first teased at Intermot last year. According to Yamaha, the MT-09′s engine produces 113.4 hp at 10,000 rpm and 64.5 ft-lb.
