I am selling this old Yamaha because I just bought another bike. It is currently registered in NC and is in excellent condition. The paint is factory original and in great condition. There is one small ding in the tank and a scratch on the right headlight bracket. You can see the ding in photo 3. I have a replacement OEM bracket in excellent condition that goes with the bike. It starts up after about 3 kicks when cold, when warm it starts with one kick. All the original documents come with the bike I can throw in a buddy seat in fair condition if wanted. The turn signals are not original to the bike. They came off my 70 CT1 and do not come with the bike. This bike is a head turner and would do very well at shows. MotoGP to Re-Visit Rookie Rule
Tue, 19 Jun 2012MotoGP organizers are re-opening discussion for the series’ rookie rule which prevents new riders from entering the series with factory teams. Introduced following the 2009 MotoGP season, the rule was designed to give satellite teams the chance to field young up-and-coming talents they otherwise wouldn’t have been able to sign. The theory was the rule would protect the satellite teams and spread out the talent pool.
