Yamaha Other description

I bought this motorcycle over 4 years ago and have been improving it ever since. As I am moving to a city over 250 miles away I have decided to try and sell the motorcycle being winter. It has a dent on the left side of the tank and has sporadic rust. The frame is rust free, only chromed areas have rust. The mufflers were rusted, so I replaced them. The motorbike comes with a center stand and a kickstand. It starts right up and runs great. This bike has only 1385 miles on it. It has one original Yamaha key that operates the ignition, the locking gas cap, the steering lock and the locking seat clamp which has two hooks for helmets and a compartment for papers under the seat. It comes with a bill of sale and key.

Yamaha Focusing on Developing Model Platforms

Mon, 22 Sep 2014

Following the success of its MT platform, Yamaha says it will continue to develop new models based on shared platforms, allowing for a choice of multiple models while reducing overall costs. Speaking in a presentation on the company’s business operation, Yamaha Motor President Hiroyuki Yanagi reiterated the strategy of developing multiple models sharing the same engine and frame. Honda has followed a similar strategy with its NC models, seeing the platform evolve to include the CTX700 and NM4.
