• Rebuilt top end has less than 500 miles on it (see photos of speedo after completion of rebuild) • Bored over .5 • Cross over carbs • New fuel lines and filters • New Points and condenser • New Brembo brakes, drilled rotors and new master • Injector pump • All oil seals replaced • Powder coated wheels with new Avon Road Rider tires • Progressive shocks • Vintage Smoke rear sets • Spec II expansion chambers • Jetting tuned at Kon-Tiki Motorcycles in San Diego for the Spec II pipes and rebuild • New custom designed seat with matching piping • New Lithium battery • Custom license and rear tail light bracket • Custom Paint, engine painted, polished heads Kicks over on first start, loves to run above 6K rpm. Yamaha Reports Q1 2013 Results
Tue, 14 May 2013Yamaha Motor reported a 3.7% increase in net sales for the first quarter ended March 31, 2013. Net sales from motorcycles increased by 4.6% despite an 8.1% decrease in unit sales. Overall, the company reported a profit of 7.5 billion yen (US$73.3 million) over the quarter, down from the 27.0 billion yen reported last year.

With events on both Friday and Saturday, there are plenty of chances for glory for the 48 competitors entered. AMA Pro SuperSport is the most unpredictable class and the racing gives a chance for riders in the large fields to step up and prove they have what it takes. A great example is reigning AMA Pro GoPro Daytona SportBike Champion and current SuperBike pilot Cameron Beaubier, who cut his teeth in his two-victory, two-pole season in 2010.
