This is 1 of those bikes that is part scooter and part motorcycle, meaning it has a scooter "step through" design and automatic transmission but has a fullsize frame and engine like a regular motorcycle. Because of that, you can not only ride around town, but you can also get up on the highway and cruise at higher speeds. The Majesty is fuel injected and Yamaha rates the fuel economy at 50MPG. If you are driving a truck or SPORT UTILITY VEHICLE, it can pay for it'self in fuel savings in a reasonable amount of time. This particular Majesty has been well cared for both cosmetically and mechanically. It sarts easily, and runs & drives just as it should. Yamaha Reports Q3 2012 Results
Tue, 06 Nov 2012Yamaha‘s North American sales were up over the first nine months of 2012, representing the lone bright spot in the company’s third quarter report. North American consumers purchased 51,000 Yamaha motorcycles (including scooters and ATVs), for a 13.3% increase from the 45,000 units sold in the opening nine months of 2011. North American sales translated into 30.7 million yen (US$382 million) in revenue for Yamaha, a 15.0% increase from the first three quarters of 2011.

Mon, 05 Sep 2011Chatting to TT legend John McGuiness recently about his first Suzuka Eight Hour experience got me thinking of a few capers the boys and me managed a few years back at what is still Japan's most important race of the season. It is a unique event that starts at 11am and finishes at 7pm making it a pukka endurance race as the last hour is run with headlights on in the dark. It is essentially an eight hour sprint that showcases the trickest endurance machinery and manufacturer’s sales can be affected the following year depending on who wins or loses.
