Valentino Rossi Works at the Yamaha Offices when not Winning Everything

Their secret for being so good at what they do is that they totally immerse themselves in Yamaha by working at the Yamaha offices. Hilarity ensues. James Toseland works the mail room, while Colin Edwards does security, quoting Eric Cartman from a 10 year-old-South Park episode. Jorge Lorenzo is washing windows and Valentino Rossi is working the front desk.

The CycleTrader.com Rock River Yamaha team is going back to Yamaha’s corporate roots with a White and Red themed look that could be found on YZs in the latter half of the 1980s and into the 90s. This color scheme also graced the prototype YZ400F Doug Henry rode into the history books with his win at the 1997 Las Vegas Supercross.
How to solve the mystery of the wildcard replacement
Wed, 30 Jun 2010With the two test riders coming forward to act as replacement riders for the injured Rossi and Aoyama, it brought back memories of the days when the grid would be gifted with wildcard riders from the respective countries. The Japanese rounds were always attended by some of the top guys with experience of the 500GP and MotoGP bikes, through racing them in their domestic championships. What resulted was getting to witness the exciting and talented Japanese riders, and bring new riders to the attention of the teams.
