Only has 1283 miles and comes with the highly sought after matte grey color scheme. Recently registered in Arizona with registration good until the fall of 2014, and I have clean title in hand. Existing warranty transfers with the bike. This is the KING of adventure bikes with a compact parallel twin engine (1199CC), a wide ratio 6-speed transmission and shaft drive technology. Rides super smooth - and has never been off the pavement. The bike has a Yamaha Chip Controlled throttle for optimum control and acceleration, anti-lock braking system, adjustable seat height and hydraulic shifter. Also comes equipped with three different "modes" to provide the appropriate control depending on where the bike is being ridden. The on-board computer is completely digital, and has all the options of a modern car. These include speed, odometer, trip A & B counter, internal temp, & external temp. The Althea Ducati racer recorded his second double of the season and now has six wins in ten races. Checa also scored the double in Utah in 2008 when Miller Motorsports Park made its debut on the WSBK calendar.
Ben Spies Leaving Yamaha At End of 2012 MotoGP Season
Tue, 24 Jul 2012MotoGP racer Ben Spies has announced he will not re-sign with Yamaha while hinting at an impending announcement for his plans for the 2013 racing season. Earlier this week, Spies used Twitter (@BenSpies11) to hint at a change for next season. In an email to SuperbikePlanet, Spies confirmed he has decided not to remain with Yamaha for several unspecified reasons.
2012 Yamaha TMax Announced for Canada
Mon, 12 Dec 2011Yamaha announced it is importing the newly updated for 2012 TMax maxi-scooter to Canada. First unveiled at the 2011 EICMA show, the 2012 Yamaha TMax received a sportier facelift and an updated 530cc engine Yamaha claims is lighter, more efficient and offers more torque at low- and mid-rpms compared to the 499cc engine found on the 2011 model. Yamaha claims the updated TMax can get up to 53 mpg, compared to the previous model’s 47 mpg claims.
