Yamaha Other description

north ave at farwell ave 920cc v-twin 5 gear. Plenty of power. Runs strong but carbs need cleaning/tuning. Has ran strong ever since I got it from the 1st owner back in early 2012, and for that, I now respect the Yamaha brand. CLEAR TITLE. 31k miles.doesnt leak oil or differential fluidclutch still ok. 2-1 aftermarket exhaust (straightpiped now but have the baffle if you want)This bike roars! definately has that tough v-twin sound that turns heads :)The bad;-Needs brakework on both ends. The back just needs a return spring for the drum. could use a new disc up front. It can still be driven around though, just have to be careful.-lost the original start button connection last season so i made my own connection to the starter with a 20 amp momentary switch. This works but doesnt last forever. autozone doesnt carry bigger than 20 amp momentaries so need to get a 30 amp momentary from a hardware store.High and low beams work, brakelight works. needs connection for tailight and blinkers$550 Firm, too much motor too sell for lessSerious calls or texts

Pedrosa: most wins, least successful

Wed, 11 May 2011

Should Dani Pedrosa win at Le Mans this coming weekend he will become the most successful rider In the premier-class not to win the coveted title. After his triumph in Estoril the Repsol Honda rider currently finds himself on 13 wins and in joint first and a win, at a circuit that sees him rank as one of riders with the most victories in all classes, would make him a clear leader. Joining Pedrosa at the top of the ranking is Max Biaggi and Randy Mamola, two riders who became associated with the number two.

Kenny Roberts Joins Inaugural American International Motorcycle Expo

Fri, 06 Sep 2013

We’ve posted several articles over the past few months about the inaugural American International Motorcycle Expo (AIME) because the motorcycling public is invited to attend what looks like an industry/trade show. And we’re not the only ones excited to check it out. Kenny Roberts, perhaps the best-known American motorcycle racer of all time, has signed on to the AIME show as “American International Motorcycle Champion.” In this role, Roberts will serve as the proverbial face of AIMExpo, joining in the celebration of the inaugural show with the entire powersports marketplace – industry, trade, media and consumers.
