late 70,s Husqvarna 250 there is no piston, really for parts, has good gold sun rear rim, I have the pipe, what you see is whats there. $150 also mid 70,s Yamaha xt500 thumper, the motor turns over and shifts, may run with carb, good for parts, again what you see is whats there. $150. BOTH BIKES ARE LOCATED JUST WEST OF PHX, AZ. I may trade for 76-78 rm250-rm370-rm400 parts bikes, 81-84 rm465-rm500 parts bikes,74-78 Yamaha rd350-rd400 parts bikes, 85-88 Honda cr500 parts bikes, and may be able to meet halfway from phx-vegas. call to discuss or email thanks, rick..also, I may have other stuff to trade for nice, near complete bikes I have mentioned I am looking for. Yamaha Becomes First Official OEM Partner of AIMExpo

Just in time for this weekend’s DealerExpo in Indianapolis, the American International Motorcycle Expo (AIMExpo) announced today that Yamaha Motor Corporation, USA will use the event to introduce its 2014 products to the marketplace. Yamaha is the first official OEM partner of AIMExpo, a landmark step in the continued growth of the event, which is hoping to be a viable rival to DealerExpo as a powersports industry destination. Yamaha’s range of powersports products comprises both the Yamaha and Star motorcycle brands.

Brought to you by YamaTube, here is a demo video of the redesigned 2010 Yamaha YZ250F.  With a plethora of new features and improvements, the highlight has to be the new bi-lateral aluminum chassis.  The 2010 Yamaha YZ250F is much improved out of the corners and overall handling, Yamaha has also improved power over the entire powerband.  MSRP to be announced Fall 2009. Yamaha Pro Am madness, the best one make championship ever?

I’m biased of course, but the best one make road race championship has to be the Yamaha RD 350LC Pro Am series. Back in the days when manufacturers had spare cash (1980 to be precise), Mitsui Yamaha organised this televised championship at major British race meetings to promote the recently launched, and now iconic, Yamaha RD350LC. Twenty four riders (twelve established and twelve rookies) were chosen by a panel of experts then given a completely free season of racing with a very generous prize fund thrown in.
