1976 WAS THE FIRST YEAR OF RD 400 6 SPEED, BIKE STARTS RIGHT UP AND RUNS GOOD EXCELLENT COMPRESSION. HAS BEEN IN STORAGE IN ARIZONA SO CHROME IS PRETTY DECENT AND NO REAL RUST. ALL ORIGINAL WILL NEED SEAT, TIRES, ONE TURN SIGNAL AND MAYBE OTHER RUBBER ITEMS. HAS A SMALL DING IN THE TANK SHOWN IN THE PICS. WILL NEED SOME TLC ASSUME MILES ARE BOX C SOLD AS-IS. 2011 World Supersport Champion Chaz Davies

Chaz Davies has captured the 2011 Supersport World Championship, completing a triumphant return to the series for Yamaha. Davies, the 2008 Daytona 200 winner, finished the Magny-Cours round in sixth place, giving him an insurmountable 35-point lead over Hannspree Ten Kate Honda‘s Fabien Foret with one race remaining. The championship comes in Yamaha‘s return from a one-year absence from the series.

2012 Yamaha YZF-R15 Revealed for India

Yamaha unveiled an updated YZF-R15 for the Indian market featuring a R1- and R6-inspired facelift. The original Yamaha R15 was released in India in 2008, representing market’s first premium sport bike. While other major manufacturers are now bringing their own premium models to the country, the early introduction gave Yamaha R15 a solid fan base and even a spec racing series.
