Surrounded by lustrous onyx lacquer, this bike makes a statement wherever it goes. It sports all the new Road Star features, including redesigned valve system, camshafts, rocker arms, air induction system, cooling fins and a beefed up clutch. Also, there's an all-new lightweight and high-strength final drive belt for long life, quiet operation and better accelration. All-new brakes featuring dual 298mm front disc brakes and 320mm single disc rear brake for strong stopping power. Short and long range rider comfort is supreme thanks to wide, swept-back, 1"-diameter, rubber-mounted handlebars, restyled touring rider seat that's 40mm wider, a reshaped passenger seat and full-size floating-type rider floorboards with new rubber inserts. Yamaha M1 Engines Available for Leasing for 2014-2016 MotoGP Seasons
Mon, 08 Apr 2013Yamaha announced it will offer a leasing arrangement for its YZR-M1 engines to teams interested in racing in the MotoGP World Championship. The Japanese manufacturer has signed a leasing arrangement with MotoGP promoter Dorna Sports to supply engines for the 2014, 2015 and 2016 seasons. Racing teams will be able to lease a Yamaha M1 engine on a per-year basis for their own race bikes.
