Surrounded by lustrous onyx lacquer, this bike makes a statement wherever it goes. It sports all the new Road Star features, including redesigned valve system, camshafts, rocker arms, air induction system, cooling fins and a beefed up clutch. Also, there's an all-new lightweight and high-strength final drive belt for long life, quiet operation and better accelration. All-new brakes featuring dual 298mm front disc brakes and 320mm single disc rear brake for strong stopping power. Short and long range rider comfort is supreme thanks to wide, swept-back, 1"-diameter, rubber-mounted handlebars, restyled touring rider seat that's 40mm wider, a reshaped passenger seat and full-size floating-type rider floorboards with new rubber inserts. Blacked-out engine with polished fins and studded rider and passenger seats create a unique look among Road Star models. Provisional 2012 World Superbike Championship Entry List Released
Wed, 18 Jan 2012The International Motorcycling Federation has released a preliminary entry list for the 2012 World Superbike Championship. The preliminary list includes 24 entries representing six manufacturers: Aprilia, BMW, Ducati, Honda, Kawasaki and Suzuki. Noticeably absent is Yamaha which announced last summer it would pull out of WSBK racing.
2014 AMA Supercross – Phoenix Results
Mon, 13 Jan 2014Kawasaki‘s Ryan Villopoto nabbed a hard-earned first victory of the 2014 AMA Supercross season, overcoming a poor start that saw him ninth after the first lap for the win. The three-time reigning champion found himself well back after the first corner as Yoshimura Suzuki‘s Jake Moss took the holeshot ahead of Yamaha‘s Justin Brayton and the KTM‘s Ryan Dungey. Brayton took over the lead by the second corner and would stay in front for the first 13 laps.
