Maintenance completed this year. oil and oil filter change, change front, rear brake fluid, clutch and tranny fluid(DOT 4), Four NGK plugs, replaced antifreeze, replaced air and fuel filters, Transmission, final drive, clutch, brakes, tires, exhaust, carburetor, fuel pump forks, cooling system, and linkages all in good shape Comes with saddle bags, windshield, light bar, sissy bar. A Clymer service manual is included. 24k miles is considered low mileage for this smooth running V4 as Yamaha is one of the top motorcycles for reliability. |

Fri, 07 Dec 2012Back in September, Yamaha revealed a special “Race Blu” livery for a the YZF-R1, YZF-R6 and the YZF-R125 for the European market. Yamaha promoted the new color scheme with Jorge Lorenzo and Ben Spies sporting the colors on their leathers and M1 race bikes at the Misano and Aragon MotoGP rounds. North American consumers were left out, however, getting a Team Yamaha Blue and White version instead for the R1 and R6 (the R125 isn’t offered here either).

Fri, 30 May 2014The 2014 AMA Pro Road Racing season resumes this weekend with the Subway SuperBike Doubleheader at Road America, in Elkhart Lake, Wis., and all eyes will be on 21-year-old AMA Pro SuperBike rookie Cameron Beaubier on the No. 2 Monster Energy Graves Yamaha YZF-R1. Beaubier may be the new kid on the block, but he entered the season opener at Daytona International Speedway with high expectations.
