Yamaha Royal Star description

2000 Yamaha Royal Star Tour, Royal Star Tour - 2000 Yamaha Royal Star Tour, It starts like any other significant relationship, with the irresistible attraction of a graceful profile, and classic, sculpted steel curves framing the unmistakable muscle of a powerful V-4 engine. Slide your eyes across paint and chrome and you'll know what Royal Star beauty is all about. Look closer and you'll see Yamaha's meticulous craftmanship, and attention to details ordinary bikes can't match. Ordinary touring bikes will get you where you're going if that's all that matters. But a Royal Star has the power to take you where the ride itself is the only destination necessary. This is why riding a Royal Star is so emotional and so special. This unique cruising experience cannot be expressed in numbers or words, only feel and freedom. The Royal Star is powered by a chromed and polished, liquid-cooled, 79-cubic-inch V-4 engine, equipped with four 28mm Mikuni carburetors and chrome exhaust pipes for optimized low-end performance. A low-maintenance shaft-drive system helps deliver a smooth ride. Riding theThis is a Gorgeous Bike that's in Flawless Condition. It has a Windshield, Matching Studded Seats and Bags, Driving Lights, Highway Bars, Windshield Bag, and Driving Lamps. It's a beautiful and powerful Cruiser that's ready to get on the road today.

BSB 2012; Mystic Mac investigates

Tue, 03 Jan 2012

In my opinion, the smartest move in the BSB off season has to be Michael Laverty moving from Swan Yamaha to HM Plant Honda. With a ban on electronics for 2012, and in particular traction control, WFR's Graham Gowland has already proved to Laverty how competitive an EVO spec Fireblade can be - so I’m tipping both these riders to be bang on the money at the Brands Hatch season opener in April. Unlike BMW, Kawasaki and Yamaha, Honda have deliberately developed their road-going Superbike without electronics to give a user friendly feel with good mechanical traction, so it’ll be interesting to see how the opposition copes with their high-tech trickery stripped off.

Valentino Rossi Works at the Yamaha Offices when not Winning Everything

Tue, 07 Jul 2009

Yamaha Motor Europe has recently posted up on YouTube a delightful video about their riders.  Their secret for being so good at what they do is that they totally immerse themselves in Yamaha by working at the Yamaha offices. Hilarity ensues. James Toseland works the mail room, while Colin Edwards does security, quoting Eric Cartman from a 10 year-old-South Park episode.  Jorge Lorenzo is washing windows and Valentino Rossi is working the front desk.

Schwantz Headlines 2012 Isle of Man TT Parade Lap

Tue, 24 Apr 2012

Former 500cc World Champion Kevin Schwantz headlines a star-studded group of racers taking part in a parade lap during the 2012 Isle of Man TT. Schwantz leads the group of six racers, past and present, selected by helmet-maker Arai to take part in the parade lap of the Isle of Man’s Mountain Course. Schwantz has visited the Isle of Man before, but this will mark his first closed lap of the circuit.
