Yamaha TT description

2013 YAMAHA TT R125LE, On the long list of beginners bikes you ll also find the Yamaha TT-R125LE, a four-four-stroke-powered model that offers a pretty exciting riding experience. What makes the bike interesting it s not its engine power - which is pretty limited- , but its lightweight nature and the superior maneuverability. To make the bike more versatile, Yamaha gave it a relativelly high seat height which is rated at less than 32 inches. The bike comes with more than 11 inches of ground clearance combined with a long travel suspension at both ends which help it deal reasonably with harsh tracks. Though, don t expect to any wonders, as the TT-R125LE s suspensions have their limitations and due to their choppy character will keep you from going very fast. Like the previous model, the 2013 Yamaha TT-R125LE features push-button electric start, 19 and 16-inch wheels, an aluminum swingarm and a 220mm front disc brake. The MSRP of the 2013 Yamaha TT-R125LE is $3,290.

Build your own Yamaha VMax

Tue, 15 Jun 2010

For the origami fans out there, Yamaha have a printable Paper Craft version of their VMax motorcycle (or should that be PMax - P for paper obviously) Download each of the five individual PDF pages and get folding. Might want to stock up on printer ink and A4 paper though as it looks like it will be a frustrating model. As it looks fairly impossible and time consuming I'm putting the challenge out for anyone to go out and complete the paper model themself.

Think You’re a Smooth Rider? Yamaha’s SmartRiding App Will Prove It

Fri, 04 Oct 2013

Yamaha has released a new app that records and evaluates riding habits. The free Yamaha SmartRiding app (available now in the App store) uses the Apple devices sensors to measure basic telemetry to evaluate how smoothly you handle curves. The app requires the device to be firmly fixed to the motorcycle in either a vertical or horizontal arrangement (the app is compatible with iPhones, iPods and iPads, though I’m not sure how many people will mount a tablet to their motorcycle).

Yamaha U.S. Increasing Club Level Road Racing Contingency

Fri, 21 Feb 2014

The state of road racing in America is hurting, there’s no doubt about that. But at least Yamaha is stepping up to the plate and increasing its contingency program for club level road racers 50% over last year. According to Yamaha, the program is designed to encompass a broad spectrum of road racing series across the U.S., from numerous club-level and regional sprint series events to the AMA Pro Road Racing series, including the addition of the ASRA Team Challenge Endurance Series.
