BEEN SITTING SINCE 2013. CLUTCH MASTER CYLINDER IS NO GOOD, NEEDS TIRES, BATTERY IS MISSING. GAS CAP HAS BEEN PRIED OFF, IT SITS IN TANK NECK JUST FINE BUT I WOULDN'T TRUST THE TANK UNTIL IT WAS CLEANED. PAST OWNER CHANGES HANDLEBARS, PEGS, GRIPS AND MIRRORS. RELOCATED TAG AND TAILLIGHT. HAD TRUE 4X4 COBRA EXHAUST. I HAVE NOT HEARD IT RUN, HAVE NOT RIDDEN IT AND CAN GUARANTEE YOU WON'T PUT A BATTERY IN IT, AIR THE TIRES UP AND RIDE IT HOME..... THIS IS A PROJECT BIKE!!!! NOT THE ORIGINAL ENGINE, HAS 1300CC MILL IN IT NOW. BIKE IS FILTHY DIRTY, NEEDS A LOT OF POLISHING BUT ALL THE PLASTIC IS GREAT SHAPE. I ROLLED IT THROUGH USING JUMP BOX AND COMPRESSION IS GOOD. PLANNED ON MAKING IT A ZIP AROUND TOWN BIKE BUT TOO MANY IRONS IN THE FIRE ALREADY. TITLE IN HAND, CAN NOTARIZE WHEN DEAL IS COMPLETE. LOCAL PICK UP ONLY, NO HOLDS, NO TRADES, CASH IN PERSON ONLY. |

Yamaha’s Spies, Crutchlow, And Hayes To Sign Autographs At Progressive International Motorcycle Show In Long Beach
Wed, 07 Dec 2011If you live in the southern California area and are attending the Progressive International Motorcycle Show at the Long Beach Convention Center this weekend, Dec. 9-11, do everything you can to make it Friday before 5:30 as three of Yamaha’s best and brightest stars will be on hand to meet and greet fans, as well as pose for pictures. Yamaha MotoGP rider and former Yamaha World Superbike Champion Ben Spies, Monster Tech 3 Yamaha MotoGP rider and former Yamaha World Supersport Champion Cal Crutchlow, and Monster Energy/Graves/Yamaha rider and two-time defending AMA Pro Racing American SuperBike Champion Josh Hayes will all be signing autographs and greeting fans at the Yamaha display.

I first met him in Malaysia in 1990 when he was riding for a Yamaha dealer team, sweating his way round circuits like Shah Alam and Johor Bahru but with a long term plan to make it onto the World scene. And he didn’t take long as after riding for Honda in the UK in 1992 he moved to WSB in 1994 and enjoyed success with both the Honda and Kawasaki factory teams.
Rossi, Pedrosa Fastest In Second Sepang MotoGP Test
Fri, 28 Feb 2014Valentino Rossi and Dani Pedrosa topped the time sheets at the conclusion of the second MotoGP test at the Sepang track in Malaysia. Both clocked identical times of 1:59.999 to become the only riders to dip under the two minute mark the entire test. The hot and humid conditions in Sepang meant times wouldn’t be faster than they were in the first test here only a few weeks prior, and indeed, Rossi and Pedrosa’s time is 0.466 second slower than the fastest lap Marc Marquez set at the last test.
