Up for sale is probably the greatest 1999 Yamaha V-Max on the planet. It only has 3667 miles on it. Has been babied all it's life and never wrecked. Everything is stock and works and runs like new. I'm 53 and never had it over 75...just don't have the time to ride. I won't give it away so there is a reserve...probably 1/4 the price of new. I'm the second owner, older gentleman from around Washington DC had it and he was moving. He programmed computers and had it tucked away in his garage. $500 deposit within 24 hours after sale then cash in person when you pick up. I would help if you hired a mover also.....thanks and happy bidding!

Mon, 26 Sep 2011Yamaha has released a new video of the 2012 YZF-R1 featuring MotoGP racer Ben Spies taking the new bike with Yamaha’s 50th Anniversary limited edition livery to a track day. Spies who won the 2009 World Superbike Championship on a Yamaha R1 so he is obviously very familiar with the sportbike which will now be available with a seven-level traction control system. Spies appears a little bored as the other riders learn the layout of the track and when they get to the track, he calmly waits while they take off around him before dropping the hammer and showing them how it’s done.

Yamaha Confirms Leaning Multi-Wheeler for 2014 – Will the Tesseract Concept Finally Become Reality?
Wed, 03 Jul 2013Yamaha confirmed it plans to introduce a new Leaning Multi-Wheeler (LMW) vehicle for 2014. An accompanying image of a test unit in camouflage reveals two closely-aligned front wheels beneath a broad fairing. The new model will be a three-wheeler similar to Piaggio‘s MP3 scooter instead of the four wheels like the Tesseract concept (pictured further below) first introduced at the 2007 Tokyo Motor Show.
