Yamaha V Max description

I am posting this for my friend Chad. It is a beautiful Bike. We actually modified ours at the same time. I sold mine a couple weeks ago, and now he wants to sell his. The last few years he has been into Sand Toys, much more than his Vmax. I know this bike, as well as I knew my own. I would not be helping him sell it, if it wasn't a reliable, awesome looking bike.

This a CUSTOM Vmax.  It is an Awesome motorcycle! It has NO problems.

Runs like NEW! Motor is completely stock.
The pictures do not do it justice. It is one cool looking V Max. Sits low and long. Lots of chrome and aluminum. Had it repainted a couple years ago. Metalic grey. Below is a list of SOME of the Mods.

RC Component Wheels
200 Series Wide Back Tire
Custom Rear Struts
3" Stretched Swing Arm
Custom Notched, Braced Swing Arm
Drag Bars
Custom Paint
Custom Seat
Custom Mirrors
Chromed Scoops
Chromed Side Covers
Chromed Grab Bar
Chromed Swing Arm
Polished Brake Calipers
Custom Rotors
Custom Blinkers

The front Tripple Trees and Forks are off a 96 Vmax. They are Chromed! This was done to upgrade the Front Brakes, not because of a wreck. This bike has never been down. My friend Chad has owned it for 14 years.

I am posting this in multiple venues, so I reserve the right to remove the ad at any time. Get a hold of me if you have any questions, or would like to see the bike.

The World Endurance Championship Starts This Weekend

Wed, 23 Apr 2014

Endurance racing is perhaps the ultimate test of both man and machine. In the past, teams would pace themselves in order to rest both elements enough to make a final push at the end. These days, however, motorcycles are more reliable than ever, and riders train like triathletes.

Yamaha Gets Monster Energy MotoGP Team Sponsorship, Annuls Lorenzo’s RockStar Sponsorship Deal

Fri, 21 Dec 2012

Yamaha has reportedly signed energy drink maker Monster Energy to sponsor its factory MotoGP team, according to Spanish site MotoCuatro.com. The new sponsorship deal created a bit of a problem however, as Yamaha‘s star rider Jorge Lorenzo recently signed a two-year contact extension to his personal sponsorship deal with RockStar, a rival energy drink maker. To get around this sticky situation, MotoCuatro reports Yamaha will invoke a clause in Lorenzo’s contract allowing the manufacturer to veto and buy out his RockStar contract.
