Yamaha V Star description

I purchased this bike as my first and have decided it's time to go bigger.

To clarify the pictures- The rear fender, chrome on rear lights, and instrument cluster are all Plasti-Dipped flat black... (It peels off which can be done at buyers request) underneath the paint still shines like the rest of the bike and the chrome is in great shape. (I just wanted to know what it would look like)

The bike comes with the whole V-star Classic setup including back seat, back rest and saddle bags. (Can be installed at buyers request)

All in all the bike runs very well and shifts smoothly, tires are decent. The lower height and lightness makes maneuvering much easier and more comfortable than on bigger bikes.

If a mid size Yamaha is what you are looking for, this is the bike for you.

Thanks for looking and feel free to message with any comments/concerns. Happy Bidding!

Yamaha Champions Riding School Sold Out June 9 & 10

Tue, 03 Jun 2014

It took more than a year for the Yamaha Champions Riding School to sell out at its former location of Miller Motorsports Park in Tooele, Utah. Since its return at New Jersey Motorsports Park, the school has sold out in less than a half of season. There are any number of reasons this could be the case.

Simon and Leo

Thu, 11 Aug 2011

If you are a track day regular this year, you may well have bumped into former racer and friendly Kiwi, Simon Crafar. I first met him in Malaysia in 1990 when he was riding for a Yamaha dealer team, sweating his way round circuits like Shah Alam and Johor Bahru but with a long term plan to make it onto the World scene. And he didn’t take long as after riding for Honda in the UK in 1992 he moved to WSB in 1994 and enjoyed success with both the Honda and Kawasaki factory teams.

Don’t miss the annual MCE Insurance British Superbike Championship visit to Knockhill as the title fight reaches Scotland for the fifth round of the season on 22/23/24 June. We have teamed up with the Rapid Solicitors Kawasaki team to offer one lucky winner the chance to win a pair of tickets to the event. The Fife circuit always produces fast and frantic action and with the new technical regulations this season making a more even playing field for 2012 expect to see a brace of new contenders lining up to steal Tommy Hill’s championship crown.
