Yamaha V Star description
Yamaha V-star classic is a nice cruising bike. It is easy to control,
very good handling at any speed, good acceleration, shaft drive, good
gas milage, 4gal tank + 0.5 gal reserve: average 150 miles/tank (not
including reserve), lots of chrome, everything works perfect, seats in
great condition- including rider seat w/ B bar (removable), includes
leather saddlebags (removable), locking compartment for paperwork,
locking gas cap, aftermarket pipes sound great, 13,031 original and
easy miles, Full synthetic oil always used & changed every 2,000
miles, never laid down or tipped, battery about 1.5yr old. The mirrors
and aftermarket driving lights need cosmetic work. Everything else just
needs a simple wash. This is a must see bike!

Colin Edwards’ Gear Being Auctioned For Feed The Children
Tue, 29 Jul 2014While Colin Edwards may no longer be a factory Yamaha racer these days, he still enjoys a close bond with the tuning fork brand. So much so that Yamaha has announced a unique opportunity to bid on a historic set of road racing leathers, boots, gloves, and helmet as worn by Edwards during this, his final season in MotoGP. Proceeds from the auction will benefit the Feed the Children, which is Yamaha Motor Corporation’s official corporate charity.

2013 Dakar Rally Results
Mon, 21 Jan 2013Cyril Despres won his fifth career Dakar Rally while helping KTM win for the 12th consecutive time, in taking the motorcycle class in the 2013 edition of the famed off-road race. KTM was again the dominant manufacturer with the top five finishers in the motorcycle class riding motorcycles from the Austrian manufacturer. Despres finished with an overall time of 43:24:22 for the win, including a 15-minute penalty for swapping an engine after the one he was using in his KTM 450 Rallye failed.
