Gloss black and chrome beauty has many factory options including a full size quick-release windshield with key lock, road lights, and engine guard bars.  Matching hard bags are mounted on factory frames and are wired with running and stop lights built in.  Intake has K&H performance filter, injectors are managed by FuelPak, and exhaust is a Vance & Hines slash cut slip-on with the optional quiet baffle.  Headlight and road lights converted to blue halogen bulbs.  Tank is protected from abrasions by a factory bra cover.  All options selected for rider safety and performance.  Maximized running lights in front and rear with  exhaust rumble so that you will always be seen and heard, and engine guards also installed.

Only 613 lbs with a full tank, this is an excellent cruiser/tourer in the long wheelbase style of the Stratoliner but much more maneuverable at 96" in length and a 66” wheelbase.  Seat height is a low 26.5”.  Floor boards, heel & toe shifter, locking fuel cap are all factory standard equipment.

One adult owner from new, this bike has never been dropped, abused, or in the rain.  No scratches or blemishes except minor on hard bags that will not photograph.  Always in a heated garaged and covered, battery has recently been replaced with original correct Yamaha.  Available for inspection and pick up near major interstate highways in central New Jersey.  Will assist you shipper.

Today at Mugello, ahead of this weekend’s MotoGP race at the famous Italian racetrack, Team HRC unveiled its 2014 Dakar team and motorcycle. Interestingly, one person many thought could be a Red Rider this year after leaving KTM, Cyril Despres, will not be riding a Honda next year, instead joining Yamaha’s Dakar effort.   However, HRC’s team still features five accomplished riders: Helder Rodrigues (Portugal), Sam Sunderland (UK), Javier Pizzolito (Argentina), Joan Barreda (Spain) and Paulo Goncalves (Portugal), all of whom will be competing on the CRF450 Rally.
