Hook it up to a YZ-spec chassis anchored by KYB suspension bits, add off-road-legal lighting front and back, a 3.2-gallon fuel tank, resettable tripmeter and an 18-inch rear wheel, and you're looking at an enduro machine with handling and range as responsive and effortless as its engine is mind-blowing.

Tue, 09 Mar 2010Focused Events Rider Development Days at Silverstone offer a new, intense tuition-based experience on a selection of new Supersport machines, hosted by high-level instructors including Niall Mackenzie, Jamie Whitham and Steve Plater.The courses will be situated at Stowe circuit, Silverstone and will be aimed at Novice and Intermediate riders. Dates for the events have been confirmed as 14th May and 2nd September.Pupils will not only be taught by World class instructors, the machinery available for use will be high-end Supersport machines from Ducati, Kawasaki, Suzuki and Yamaha. According to Yamaha, personal information for recall and product improvement measures was leaked byYamaha Motorcycle Sales Japan Co., the manufacturer’s domestic group company. The information including names, mailing addresses, vehicle names and VIN, and dealership information for 607 customer accounts in the Aichi, Fukuoka and Kagoshima prefectures were received by an anonymous third party via fax on Nov.

Fri, 23 Aug 2013Katsuyuki Nakasuga, the surprise podium finisher at last year’s MotoGP finale in Valencia, will have the chance to catch lightning in a bottle once again, after being granted a wild card entry to the 2013 Japanese Grand Prix at Motegi. Nakasuga shocked the racing world with a second-place finish at the Valencian Grand Prix last November as an injury replacement for then-Yamaha factory rider Ben Spies. Nakasuga made the cagey decision to run slick tires in the wet race.
