UP FOR AUCTION IS A VERY CLEAN AND STOCK, 1980 YAMAHA XS850 SPECIAL. I AM SELLING THIS BIKE FOR MY UNCLE. IT HAS A VERY TORQUEY THREE CYLINDER ENGINE THAT RUN'S GREAT. BIKE HAS ALWAY'S BEEN WELL SERVICED. IT HAS VERY LOW MILEAGE, AND THE CONDITION SHOW'S. THE PAINT AND CHROME IS IN GREAT CONDITION, ESPECIALLY FOR THE AGE. BIKE HAS BEEN IN USE, AND IS READY TO RIDE. Valentino Rossi Test Drives Kyle Busch’s NASCAR Toyota Camry
Tue, 23 Apr 2013The morning after riding his Yamaha M1 to a sixth-place finish at the Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas, nine-time Grand Prix World Champion Valentino Rossi landed in Charlotte, N.C., to race around another track; only this time there were no right turns. (UPDATED with additional photos.) Rossi met up with NASCAR racer and fellow Monster Energy-sponsored athlete Kyle Busch to ride Busch’s Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota Camry at Charlotte Motor Speedway. Busch, winner of the last three Nationwide Series races, gave Rossi a walkaround of his car before taking the Yamaha factory rider around a few laps of the Charlotte Motor Speedway 1.5-mile oval.
Dakar Rally 2012 Results – Despres Wins Fourth Dakar
Mon, 16 Jan 2012Cyril Despres beat his teammate Marc Coma to win his fourth Dakar Rally, while KTM captured its 11th consecutive win in the 33rd running of the off-road race. Despres won three stages and finished the 5,214-mile race in South America in a total time of 43 hours, 28 minutes and 11 seconds. Despres crossed the finish in Lima, Peru, with a lead of 53 minutes and 20 seconds ahead of his fellow Red Bull KTM rider Coma.
