Features A light aluminum frame housing a patented YPVS Power valve-equipped ripper of an engine results in an awesome power-to-weight ratio. The YZ250 is ready to race out of the crate, complete with an aluminum handlebar, titanium foot pegs, gripper seat, and Excel rims. Ultra lightweight means nimble handling with less fatigue. Wide, cleated, folding titanium foot pegs are lightweight and provide excellent comfort, grip, and ground clearance. Special-design gripper type seat and fuel tank, forward-canted steering crown and low handlebar provide excellent movement and more comfortable ergonomics for riders. Wide-diameter fuel tank cap ensures easier usage, while larger tank opening means faster, hassle-free refueling. A light and strong aluminum handlebar in adjustable mounts means comfort and control. 2014 AMA Supercross – Anaheim 2 Results
Mon, 20 Jan 2014Chad Reed earned his first AMA Supercross win in nearly two years with a hard-fought battle in the second round of three rounds at Angel Stadium in Anaheim, Calif. The win was the 42nd career victory for the TwoTwo Motorsports Kawasaki rider, but the first since Jan. 21, 2012, in Los Angeles.

Priced at only £79.95, delivered, the Slash Cut Trim easily bolts on with its supplied mounting clamp and spring to the catalytic converter in place of the heavy standard exit pipes on Yamaha’s R6 (2006-2011) and Suzuki’s GSX-R600/750 (K8, K9, L0). With the main aim of reducing weight and improving aesthetics on these machines, the Slash Cut Trim does give a marginal increase of throttle response and exhaust note.
Wayne Rainey Visits Yamaha Racing HQ
Thu, 08 Sep 2011Racing legend and three-time 500cc Grand Prix Champion Wayne Rainey paid a visit to Yamaha Motor Racing’s headquarters just outside of Milan, Italy. The 1990-1992 World Champion met with employees of Yamaha Racing, Yamaha Motor Italy and Yamaha Motor RD Europe and officially opened a new boardroom named in his honor. Rainey, along with current Yamaha factory MotoGP racers Jorge Lorenzo and Ben Spies, took time to take photographs and sign autographs with the Yamaha staff.
