Selling my 2005 Yamaha R1 for $6,000.00 obo, bike is in excellent condition and would really rather not sell it, however; I just graduated and am moving out of the state and have to. Bike has had only one previous owner, has a clean title, about 17.5k miles, has been regularly serviced, and I have never experienced any issues. Yamaha Reports Q2 2013 Sales Results
Tue, 06 Aug 2013Yamaha bounced back from a poor first quarter with sales of 1.530 million motorcycles over the second quarter ended June 30, 2013. The results represent a 1.5% increase from the 1.507 million motorcycles sold in the same quarter last year. Still, Yamaha’s first half motorcycle sales total of 3.0 million units remains behind last year’s tally of 3.1 million units because of the weak first quarter sales.

The controversial cut through the famous Corkscrew was arguably the most dramatic moment of the 2008 MotoGP season (and ironically, recreated this year, with Marc Marquez turning the tables on Rossi).
