Yamaha YZF-R description

2006 Yamaha R1 Limited Edition, brand new, 0.0 miles (yes, zero miles!).

They only made 500 of these in this configuration. This is number 323 of 500 total. Collectors dream/extremely rare!

I'm betting there are less than 10 worldwide with 0.0 miles! Look into these bikes, they are very rare. I've seen used ones go for $11,000-$12,000, so keep that in mine when you make an offer.

It is badged and numbered on the bike. The LE came with some upgrades as:  gold marchesini wheels, longer swingarm, slipper clutch, ecu race tune, ohlins racing suspension all around and brembo brake components. This bike has been babied and garage kept.

Here is a YouTube video of the bike starting! (Copy and paste address in browser if the link doesn't work.)

VIDEO WALKAROUND
https://youtu.be/d04k6UzP_Ug

Since it is new and has zero miles, obviously no test rides, but once it is yours, you are free to do with it as you please. This will only go up in value as you keep it new though. I like to ride my toys, so I am selling it. I've got a 2000 R1 that is also listed for sale.

Original owners manuals are also included in the sale. Will sell Race Spools and Stand for $100 if you want them with the bike. They will be included free with Buy it Now.

Buyer is responsible for all shipping responsibilities (* see below). $500 non refundable PayPal deposit due at the end of the auction. Full payment due within 10 days of auction end. We can work out payment after the auction, but prefer cash in hand or you can deposit directly into my Wells Fargo account, bank backed money orders or cashiers checks. The only trade I will consider is a Ducati Panigale 1299 (this is what I plan to purchase after sale).

Clean, clear title in hand, also shows 0 miles and is as if you are buying it from the original owner.

3 minor blemishes are pointed out in pictures and video walkaround.

Team Hammer Releases Martin Cardenas

Fri, 04 Jan 2013

AMA Pro Racing’s Team Hammer has released Martin Cardenas from his contract to allow the reigning AMA Daytona Sportbike Champion “to better pursue his goal of returning to World Championship competition as soon as possible.” Though the eventual goal appears to be for Cardenas to move up to the World Superbike Championship, rumors have Cardenas landing with the Yoshimura Suzuki factory team to race in the AMA Superbike Championship in 2013 as an eventual stepping stone towards international racing. Cardenas won the 2010 and 2012 AMA Daytona Sportbike championships with Team Hammer riding a Suzuki GSX-R600. Team Hammer held a contract option for Cardenas for the 2013 season but decided to release the Colombian racer, allowing him to take a different route towards a WSBK career.
