Yamaha YZF-R description

The Yamaha YZF-R1 has been carving its way into motorcycle history since 1998, and in 2007 the scalpel has been sharpened to the point of being dangerous... at least to the competition. In the beginning the R1 set new standards for performance in the literbike class with a combination of a sick motor and track-inspired good looks.Call Quinton 602-315-3736 or Devaughn 480-800-9537 for more information! We Finance!

Ben Bostrom Events

Fri, 05 Jul 2013

Ex-racer Ben Bostrum might have stopped competing on motorcycles, but he hasn't given up his passion for two wheels. He's teamed up with motorsports promoter M1 to create Ben Bostrom Events, a company that plans to host world-class cycling and running races across the US. According to a press release, the high-intensity events will feature an 'entertainment-filled atmosphere', combining many of the familiar elements found at other MOB (mud, obstacles, beer) racing events.

2012 Yamaha YZF-R1 Video Featuring Ben Spies

Mon, 26 Sep 2011

Yamaha has released a new video of the 2012 YZF-R1 featuring MotoGP racer Ben Spies taking the new bike with Yamaha’s 50th Anniversary limited edition livery to a track day. Spies who won the 2009 World Superbike Championship on a Yamaha R1 so he is obviously very familiar with the sportbike which will now be available with a seven-level traction control system. Spies appears a little bored as the other riders learn the layout of the track and when they get to the track, he calmly waits while they take off around him before dropping the hammer and showing them how it’s done.

Air time Kenny Roberts-style

I can’t get enough of pictures that capture a specific, hard to define moment; the successful encapsulation of the absolute balls-to-the-wall, life or death commitment that riding a motorbike as fast as possible involves.  We all know. We’ve all been there – even if it’s only a once-in-a-lifetime moment. Maybe (for us mere mortals) it’s that rapidly, yet unexpectedly, tightening left-hand bend with a shitty, mud-covered veneer just at the apex.
