Yamaha YZF-R description

Here I have a 2007 YZF-R1, I'm selling this because I'm in a ridiculous amount of debt and im only a freshman in college. The stress is too much to bear so i HAVE to sell this. I had it fully serviced under a week ago, (150 miles ago) and got oil change, filters and the whole 9 yards. It runs perfectly, there are 0 problems what so ever and the Yamaha dealership confirms this. I DO HAVE THE TITLE! I ride around campus so im not putting any significant amount of miles on it anytime soon. Only used race fuel or high octane 93 gas, i never abused this nor have i dropped it. The bike is clean and is a real head turner, I get tons of compliments and everybody loves it. (i am currently in Georgia, this is a southern bike! Better roads down here and less harsh climate, less wear on bike! I assure you will love this bike, extremely well put together. I wish i could keep it but this debt is stressing me out beyond comprehension. I will include a matching helmet (size L), and a brand new silver  helmet (size M) (Both are HJC), spare key and some gloves. This is the lightest 1000 sport bike i have ever sat on, you will see very small handling differences between this and 600 sport bikes, its incredible, all around amazing bike in every singe way. DUE TO SPROCKET MODIFICATIONS THE MILEAGE IS FAR HIGHER THAN REALITY!

Speedo reads up to 5-15 mph higher depending on speed, (Faster you go the more its off by, Logic.) changes made at about 14K miles so if i were to estimate i would say the bike is really around 18K, just an estimation!

Jefferies' TT V&M R1 for sale

    Tue, 26 Apr 2011

We got a tip-off about a former David Jefferies TT R1 for sale on eBay. The owner says it's from the 1998 TT but I'm pretty sure it was the one he raced in 1999. Here's a little bit more background about the V&M TT effort in 1999: In 1990 Jack Valentine gave up racing to concentrate on running V&M Racing, and after being sacked by Honda at the end of the 1998 season, the team set about to do some giant killing.

Tommy Hayden to Race 2012 Daytona 200 for Graves Yamaha – Video

    Fri, 16 Mar 2012

Tommy Hayden has signed on to race in the 2012 Daytona 200 for the Graves Yamaha team as an replacement for injured rider Garrett Gerloff. Gerloff broke his right femur in the first Daytona Sportbike class practice session for the Daytona 200, leaving Yamaha little time to find a replacement. Hayden had raced for Yamaha before, and those old ties reconnected quickly in time for the season opening race.

    MotoGP to Re-Visit Rookie Rule

    Tue, 19 Jun 2012

MotoGP organizers are re-opening discussion for the series’ rookie rule which prevents new riders from entering the series with factory teams. Introduced following the 2009 MotoGP season, the rule was designed to give satellite teams the chance to field young up-and-coming talents  they otherwise wouldn’t have been able to sign. The theory was the rule would protect the satellite teams and spread out the talent pool.
