Yamaha YZF-R description

This is a 2008 Yamaha R6s for sale. It runs beautifully and has really low miles as I mentioned and showed in the picture.

Few things I have changed/added to the bike:

Woodcraft Frame Sliders

Fren Tubo SS Brake lines

6K HID Lights

Proton Flushmount front turn signals.

Integrated Rear Turn Signals/ Brake Light

Rear Fender Eleminator (Tried to show in one of the pictures that I have LED licence plate bolts wired in so wouldn't get pulled over)

CRG Arrow Bar End Mirrors

Double Bubble Iridium Windscreen.

Shorty Levers with Adjusters.

I did have a lowside on the bike back in 2010, hence the different paint job than any stock bike. The only result was some cosmetic damage as the frame sliders protected everything mechanical.

The bike is sold "AS IS" with no warranty of any kind. I require a minimum $500.00 non-refundable deposit within 24 hours and final payment must be made within 7 days. Shipping/Delivery is the buyers responsibility but I will definitely do what I can do assist getting your new purchase to you.

MCE Insurance British Superbike Championship competition The MCE Insurance British Superbike Championship title race is hotting up as Silverstone gears up to host the penultimate round of the Showdown this weekend (28/29/30 September) as the leading protagonists prepare to fight it out for the two crucial victories. After a dramatic event at Assen last weekend Josh Brookes stole the lead in the overall standings with just two points separating him and double champion Shane 'Shakey' Byrne. Swan Yamaha’s Tommy Hill had a nightmare start to the Showdown but is determined to fight back this weekend.

This picture of me chasing Foggy on the Daytona banking in 1991 brought back some bitter sweet memories recently. I did half a season as his team mate on the Silkolene RC30s before scurrying off to Japan to ride a factory Yamaha Superbike. I’ve never been a quitter but I felt the team that year was gear stretched running two riders so it was a case of last in first out.

THIS IS the 'Black Devil' - the latest traffic jam-busting, kamikaze two-wheel nutcase who seems to have little respect for not only his own life but eveyone else on the road, too. The rider in question has filmed himself tearing up Moscow's roads in a suicidal fashion, diving between lines of traffic in a bid to impress viewers of his hi-speed antics aboard a Yamaha R1. If he keeps this kind of activity up expect a report on his untimely demise sometime in the near future.
