Yamaha YZF-R tech info
Yamaha YZF-R description
For sale is my 2009 Yamaha R6 Raven. It has just under 5000 miles, CLEAR
title, and runs perfect! I just spent $1100 on upgrades and labor THIS
WEEK on the bike.
Upgrades:
ASV Black/Gold Levers $175
DID VXGB Gold Chain $150
Targa Fender Eliminator $90
Zero Gravity Double Bubble Smoke Windscreen $80
Shogun Frame Sliders $80
Shogun Swingarm Spools $25
Shogun Bar Ends $25
Hotbodies Racing Smoke Flushmount LED Turn Signals $40
Driven Racing Black Grips $15
*I also debadged the entire bike resulting in the clean, minimalist look you see.
I just paid SK Moto here in Gainesville $400 to professionally install
all of this, bringing my total spent to around $1100. They also did a
synthetic blend oil change, and looked over everything verifying it's in
great working order! Again, all of these parts are brand new, literally
just purchased a week ago. This bike was always taken care of and used
responsibly, I've owned multiple bikes in the past and don't abuse them
like you commonly find on others.
Message me to set up a time to see in person/more info.

R1 noise, bike porn and a quick lap
Tue, 24 Apr 2012Trawling the internet for a sound clip of the Crossplane Crank Yamaha R1 on full chatter, I came across this: a few fast laps on board with New Zealand Superbike racer Tony Rees as he works the CABS Throttle Blipper on his 2011 R1. (Skip to 7:35 for the fast ones.) CABS is a system used by Superbike teams that makes use of the R1’s digitally controlled throttle. When you change up a gear, the bike blips in the perfect amount of revs to save time on track and make downshifts as quick and easy as clutch-less upshifts.
