2006 Yamaha Yzfr6l , Selling a beautiful R6 with only 9,426 miles. The bike has new tires($300+) and a recent oil change. The bike was converted to synthetic oil. The bike has a yoshimura exhaust ($300+). This bike runs perfectly and has been garage kept. I'm going to include Hawk Aviator Skull Dual Visor Modular Bluetooth Motorcycle Helmet and a HTC black and gray helmet ($350+) , 3 sets of riding gloves ($75), and a riding jacket ($100+). The extras themselves total over $1000 in value not counting the rear fender eliminator and integrated led brake and turn signals. I do have the original fender and a Yamaha cover. Yamaha Recalls R1 and Super Tenere for Overheating Headlights
Mon, 24 Feb 2014Yamaha has started a recall campaign on 2009-2013 YZF-R1 sportbikes and 2012-2013 Super Ténéré models because of a risk of headlight failure due to overheating. The recall campaign affects 19,045 units of the R1 and 4,683 units of the Super Ténéré in the U.S. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, heat generated by the headlight bulb socket may cause the terminal ends to expand, resulting in arcing between the terminal connector and bulb contact.

The Yamaha - built by the extraordinary Kel Carruthers - that Hailwood is riding in the clip featured a unique frame with the camera housed within.
