For sale is my NSU Pony, manufactured 23rd June 1937. A completely matching numbers bike with its original paint and colour configuration.The bike is an unrestored marvel, a true survivor with an interesting background!When war broke out motorcycles were rounded up and sent away to help the battle, fortunately this one managed to escape its duties (and green camouflage paint), When the owner heard of the bikes being collected and taken away, he set about hoisting it into the eaves of his barn and surrounded it with hay. Hidden from the Nazi inspection before he was sent to the front line. The original owner (seen pictured) was unfortunately captured by the Russians towards the end of the war and sent to work on the Salt mines of Siberia until 1949. One of 6000 out , he removed his bike back from its hideaway and carried on using it as he once intended.We have correspondence from the period, plus genuine photos when the bike was new and even the original Farhzeugbrief (Registration/Title) made of linen and complete with the Third Reich Eagle stamp.Deluxe model, with additional spring cushioned seat and tool kit saddle bags.The Bike is complete matching numbers and still retains its original number plate, again stamped with the Third Reich Eagle holding the Swastika.Fully UK/EU registered with numerous invoices, MOTs, registration, owner correspondence, letters, manuals photographs, awards etc etc and must be seen to be believed.Starts on the Kick, though been used as a display bike more than a driver.Motorcycle is located in London, UK.It can be packaged and delivered to any location worldwide, Please feel free to contact for more details.NOTE: I bank with a US bank in NYC, therefore I can be paid in US dollars should the buyer prefer.
