Up for Auction is my business partner's 2012 HD CVO Road Glide. He purchased this bike in January, 2012 brand new from Harv's Harley Davidson in Macedon, NY. The vast majority of miles are highway miles as he used this on our lengthy road trips to Americade and Laconia Bike Weeks. His first road trip in May 2012 was to Georgia for a wedding. The other miles are primarily commuting from Rochester to Albany and Rochester to Buffalo to oversee our other business locations.
He has outfitted this motorcycle with all of the goodies. It is wired and is included in the auction the Harley Davidson model 665 GPS unit. ($1000) This mapping, satellite radio, blue tooth syncing for phone, and weather maps. The satellite radio would require a buyers subscription to Sirius/XM. As you can see in the photos, the color-matched detachable Chopped Tour Pack with luggage rack is included in this auction. ($1750) The bike also includes a detachable sissy bar for a passenger. ($150)
The Custom Vehicle Operations (CVO) designation indicates the Screamin' Eagle performance and upgraded paint scheme that comes from the HD factory. This model year has the 110 cu-in engine hand built with all of the Screaming Eagle Parts from the factory. Comes with the Screaming Eagle Air Cleaner with a billet cover. Also included is a Danny Gray custom reduced reach seat. ($500) Bike has been lowered with the progressive mono tube inserts cartridges eliminating any front end dive upon braking. ($300) He added Jackpot muffler slip-ons. ($500) These have an unobtrusive exhaust note unless you give it the gas and then it sounds awesome.
There is a set of Jacknife highway pegs that swing out fromt the footboards. ($150) Also included in the auction is a Madstad Engineering windshield. ($300) When installed at the proper position it eliminates wind buffeting for the rider. He purchased the two service manuals for this bike, the touring manual and the CVO manual and they are included in the auction. The saddle bag liners are also included.
The 2012 CVO options included a golden key, and ipod for the sound system as well as the upgraded speakers and 100 watt amplifier that makes this sound system crystal clear at all speeds. The paint is incredible on this bike and the pictures don't do it justice. It is officially called Twilight/Cobalt Blue Two-tone with ghosted flame accents throughout.
New Tires were installed at 11k because he was planning a trip to Alaska, but for business reasons was unable to go. Since then he has purchased a Triumph Tiger Explorer for this Alaska trip next June and that is why he is selling this beautiful bike.
