I am the third owner of this motorcycle.  Recent service included fluid change out, oil filter, rear breaks, and module to make all rear lights running lights.  Paint and chrome in excellent condition.  Small scratch on rear muffler tip from previous owner.  Sale includes two helmets, bike cover, battery tender, and leather duffel bag.  Title is clear and in my possession.  Bike is for sale locally and listing may end without notice.

The new 2012 Harley-Davidson Seventy-Two is expected to be announced at the company’s winter dealer meeting next month, and it may not be alone. Newly released documents from the CARB reveal the Harley-Davidson Seventy-Two among the company’s 1200cc Sportster offerings alongside the Forty-Eight, 1200 Custom and Nightster.

Margie Siegal, former columnist for IronWorks Magazine and motorcycle enthusiast has written a book on the history of the world’s most famous motorcycle, Harley-Davidson. Entitled,  Harley-Davidson: A History of the World’s Most Famous Motorcycle, the book ties together the mechanical evolution of the Harley engines, the social history of Harley and the beautiful visuals associated with Harleys in design, advertising, artful photography and collectibles. Harley-Davidson are words that evoke the open American road and the “Made in America” tradition like no others.
