BMW R-Series description

1967 R50/2 with very low mileage and very stock.  Complete matching number bike with clear title in hand.  Has newer battery (this spring) and was licensed and ready to ride when I got it.  Runs good and shifts good. All electrical works properly.  Speedo & ODO working properly. Has Hella bar end turn signals, engine guards & Denfeld rear rack. Tires are in good shape....sorry but I do not have service records but it only has 11,800 miles on clock. Seat is like new..shocking to me.

Problems I saw...small ding on top of fuel tank, right hand side top...inside of fuel tank looks like new...original red coat & small ding & scratch on top of tank..see photo's.  Front fender was repainted from front brace to where shocks come down..didn't see it until I dusted it off.  Left hand mirror mount stripped out. Driveshaft Boot starting to crack...but new one included.

Has Tool Kit, Owners Manual (repop) & all Keys including steering lock.  Comes with extra parts including H4 Headlight Conversion, some New Shocks, S/S Bolt Kit, BMW Parts Book & more...see photo's.

2014 BMW NineT Spied – Lo Rider Concept Finally Coming to Life

Thu, 26 Sep 2013

Germany’s Motorrad Magazin has uncovered new photos of an upcoming BMW motorcycle rumored to be called the NineT. We caught a glimpse of the boxer-engined roadster testing earlier this summer but the new pictures – snapped at a gas station in northern Italy – reveal three motorcycles that appear close to being ready for production. The name NineT recognizes the 90th year anniversary, and the new model references that history in its retro styling.

2010 BMW S1000RR – First Ride

Fri, 20 Nov 2009

UPDATE:  Full Review now on Motorcycle.com (with video) We just spent the day ripping it up around the fabulous Portimao race circuit in Portugal on BMW’s new S1000RR supersport literbike, and it’s set to blow away perceptions of what a BMW motorcycle is. With 193 crankshaft horsepower and a claimed dry weight of 404 pounds, BMW says the S1000RR has the best power-to-weight ratio of any production bike. And, by the way the S1000 lofts its front wheel onto Portimao’s front straight at 150 mph, we’re becoming believers!
