Resurfaced valves and recut seats. Remove transmission and clean, lubed spline. Remove clutch assembly and clean. Replace friction clutch disk. Replaced rear main seal, oil pump seal, and transmission neutral switch. Rear clean - Clutch bell housing Install Boyer Digital Electronic ignition system (Remove, strip, clean and assemble carbs. - All new O rings, gaskets floats, needles) Replaced very worn charging alternator brushes Final drive rebuilt - new bearing and seals - Brake shoes replaced Sync, Tune, Timed Engine Needs nothing but a tour!! 2014 BMW K1600GTL Exclusive Outed in CARB Documents
Mon, 23 Sep 2013Earlier this summer, BMW announced its 2014 six-cylinder K1600GT including a new variant called the K1600GT Sport. A new document released by the California Air Resources Board reveals the more luxurious K1600GTL may be getting its own special variant as well. CARB released a new executive order for its 2014 K16 models including the K1600GTL Exclusive alongside the regular K1600GTL and the K1600GT.
BMW Quitting WSBK After 2013 Season
Wed, 24 Jul 2013BMW announced it will withdraw its factory support from the World Superbike Championship at the end of the 2013 season. According to BMW, the company will concentrate on its production models including the addition of new small-displacement models and reaching developing markets. BMW Motorrad will also shift resources to other motorsports activities such as supporting customer racing efforts in both international and domestic competitions.
