This is a very nice 2008 R1200GS. It has 16600 mostly highway miles on it. I have taken it on a trip around the country with two people and all gear needed to camp for 2 months without a problem. It was then used it as a commuter bike.
It is stock with the only addition being crash bars (Twisted Throttle) added after about 1500 miles. Heated grips, computer, abs breaks, cross spoke wheels, hand guards, and on and on. The luggage is stock BMW expandable cases. There is a backrest built onto the top case. The keys (original) operate all of the locks on the bike and luggage. Original manual and tool set under the seat. Installed brand new battery last year. The tires (Bridgestone Battlax) have less than 100 miles on them and were replaced at the end of last season. Annual maintenance 10 days ago at Harley Davidson/BMW louisville (As you can see in the picture the next maintenance is June 2017). I have records for the bike including purchase price. I am the first and only owner. The issues are pictured above. They are cosmetic. Mechanically and otherwise the motorcycle is in absolutely excellent condition. These bikes run for 120k+ without any major work. It will offer you as many memories as it has me. The bike is priced about a thousand under NADA guide value. BSB Superstock Championship Winning BMW S1000RR Stolen
Mon, 26 Sep 2011British Superbike racer Richard Cooper’s BMW S1000RR racebike was stolen mere hours after winning the 2011 British national Superstock title. Thieves reportedly broke into the Buildbase BMW race team’s truck after it returned to the team’s base in Leicestershire, England, from the series-clinching round at Britain’s Silverstone circuit. According to the team, thieves optained the keys to a van holding Cooper’s winning motorcycle and Superbike class racer John Laverty’s BMW S1000RR Superbike.
2012 US Motorcycle Sales Results – Industry Reports 2.6% Increase

BMW Announces 2014 Model Updates and New K1600GT Sport
Thu, 11 Jul 2013BMW announced a new variant to its six-cylinder K-series and other small updates to returning 2014 models. The 2014 models were first revealed last weekend’s BMW Motorrad Days celebration but we now have full details on the updates. The new 2014 BMW K1600GT Sport is based on the existing K1600GT but adds a special Sakhir Orange/Black Storm Metallic paint job, black gloss-coated wheels, a shorter windscreen and a sportier seat design.
